John G. Campbell

John Goulder Campbell (June 25, 1827 – December 22, 1903) was a delegate from Arizona Territory in the United States House of Representatives.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Campbell emigrated to the United States in 1841 and settled in New York where he attended public high schools in the area. He moved to California in 1849 and engaged in numerous occupations. He moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1863 and engaged in mercantile pursuits and stock raising. He was a member of the Arizona Territory House of Representatives from 1868 to 1874 and was county supervisor of Yavapai County, Arizona. He was elected a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives in 1878, serving from 1879 to 1881. Afterwards, he resumed his former business pursuits as well as engagements in hotels. He died in Prescott, Arizona on December 22, 1903 and was interred there in Mountain View Cemetery.
